Activities in the German and European
Earthstewards Network
New EP Coordinators for German Speaking Area
Ebba Ehrnsberger, born 1941. I came to E/P by the assistance of
Knut. In 2003 I became accredited as One-day-facilitator. Since then I
held some One-days co-facilitating with Knut. I feel very satisfied by this work and I am willing to continue holding E/P's in Germany or also in the U.S., if my presence is asked for. Since November, 2004, Knut and
I have been elected as E/P Coordinators for the German-speaking area.
We honor this duty and look forward to doing our best, collecting and
spreading information and "keeping and feeding the fire" of
men/women understanding.
Knut Koslowski, born 1955. Teacher and Gestalt-Therapist. I have
been involved in helping to improve communication and understanding between
people for many years, and I like America and the Americans since a long
time, too. By an American friend and collegue, Carol Goodwin, I got knowledge
about E/P and the Earthstewards. In 1996 I got accredited as a One-day-facilitator
and I was happy to experience Danaan's last three-day in Germany. Shortly
after that, I gave my first one day together with Carol in Brinnon, Washington.
Since then, I co-facilitated numerous one-days in Germany and one in Austria
and recently co-facilitated two two-days, as well. So, by now I have also
been accredited as two-day-facilitator.
E/P and being in the Earthstewards' community really makes a difference
for me. This is still worth spreading. Besides my regular one-days together
with Ebba I am ready to co-faciltitate one and two-days with other co-facilitators,
as done in summer 2004 in Baltimore. Recently, Ebba and I were elected
as German coordinators.
Activities in the German and European Network:
As far as we know, beside the Annual European Earthstweards Gatherings,
E/P-facilitaors have gathered since early 1997 (in Borne, Netherlands) once
per year in the European context and once per year in the German speaking
area (meaning mainly Germans, Suiss people and Austrians and often several
Dutch people). In the Eurpean gatherings we also have participants from
Great Britain, Croatia, Serbia, Russia and other countries. We gather with
15 up to 30 people, more or less. Often we were able to welcome guests from
the U.S. network as well.
In our gatherings we discuss and share about success and problems in and with the E/P seminars and to refresh our energy for the work, mutually. We discuss ideas for development and renewal of the E/P work, how to reach certain groups of participants and public relation in general. Not to
forget, we give us mutual appreciation for the work. Gathering in the
facilitator network feels like family somehow.
Even though the number of seminars has decreased in the recent years,
talking about Europe we still have some one-days every year, one or a
few two-days per year and a three-day every other year, more or less.
