I am very interested in co-facilitating EP
workshops ANYWHERE. After taking the training in 1993, I led several workshops
in Atlanta, GA. Then I moved to Asheville, NC where I led several more.
Now I
live in Silver Spring, MD. My job as national coordinator of Help Increase the
Peace Program allows me to travel a fair amount. I would be happy to coordinate
some of my travel to arrange to lead Essential Peacemaking Workshops. Most
recently, I have presented EP workshops at two NCPCR conferences (National
Conference on Peacemaking and Conflict Resolution).
Over the years I have partnered with men in Alabama and
Washington, DC to lead gatherings in those places, as well as in Atlanta and
Asheville. I set up a 2 day in Tbilisi, Republic of Georgia in the former
Soviet Union and partnered with Martin Kammann from Germany to lead that. What
a special experience! Martin wrote about it in a Mandorla.
I was at the gathering in Mexico in 1995 and I wrote an
article about the effect EP had on me which was published in the Mandorla. I
have participated in at least 3 3-day trainings, most recently in Massachusetts
in spring 2000.
After all these years, I am still committed to the work.
I continue to believe that healing our differences, whether between men and
women or any other groups which believe themselves to be separate,
is the path to peace. I am still trying to "from scared to sacred" in my
own life and honor that process in others.
All of this has been a great learning experience. With some
energy, the workshops could continue. I'd like to do it. Is there any man with
enough energy to get a group together? I'll travel to do the work. Reach me at
